
Afzal Suleman - President and CEO
Afzal Suleman, Phd, PEng, is a Professor of Aerospace Engineering, University of Victoria, BC, Canada. He holds a BSc (Honours) and MSc in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College, University of London, UK and a PhD in Space Dynamics from the University of British Columbia, Canada. Dr. Suleman is an alumni of the International Space University, Japan, 1992. His past and current associations include: National Academy of Sciences/National Research Council Fellowship, USA, 1992-1994; Advanced Aerospace Structures at Wright-Patterson AFB, U.S. Air Force; National Delegate at NATO Research and Technology Organization Applied Vehicle Technology NATO-CSO; Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics; a member of the Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute; and a member of the AIAA Multidisciplinary Design Optimization Technical Committee. Dr. Suleman's expertise extends across; Multidisciplinary Design Optimization, Aircraft Design, Airframe Design, and Novel Energy Efficient Aircraft Configurations.
